Repair and maintenance of sand dredgers

Maintenance and maintenance of a sand dredger: during use, the screws of each part should be checked frequently, and lubricated oil should be added and maintained frequently, especially the bolts of the hopper screws and chain pins, the four-corner wheels on the water, and the docking plate of the 500 reducer, which must be fastened in good condition. Underwater four-corner wheels, etc., should be frequently filled with butter and lubricating oil where they are used. During flood seasons or shutdowns, the boat should be tied to a solid place to prevent it from being washed away or causing unnecessary damage.

For personal safety, you must pay attention to the following points:

1. Persons under the age of 18 and over the age of 50 are not allowed to operate or maintain this sand dredger.

2. It is strictly forbidden to operate this series of machines without training or after drinking.

3. When inspecting the sand dredger, all machinery must be stopped before proceeding.

4. According to the geographical conditions, the evacuation and lifting of the boom should be done flexibly. If there are large stones and mud in the hopper, they must be cleaned up.

5. Always check that the chain screws, pins, and fasteners at each fixed point of the transmission system are strong.

6. When shutting down, the sand in the hopper should be less than 1/2, and the boom should be lifted gradually until the underwater four-corner wheel is exposed to the water surface. When there is no sand in the hopper, stop the front diesel engine, and then stop the rear diesel engine.

In case of strong wind (above level 5), it should be temporarily shut down to avoid malfunctions. The sand dredger should be shut down to work while inspecting or replacing parts to avoid personal casualties.
